A leading Chartered Accountant by profession, has over 35 years of experience having qualified as a lawyer and a cost accountant. He began his career with C.C. Chokshi & Co. His areas of specialization include tax planning and structuring for domestic and international clients, including expatriates, finalizing collaborations and joint ventures, executive advisory and decision support, corporate restructuring with a focus on start up, turnaround and change management strategies and analyzing tax impact of various instruments. He advises some of India’s largest business houses on various strategic matters and multinational clients on cross border structuring and family succession and on wills and trusts.

Dileep is a member of the Board of Directors of various companies. He was the former Joint Managing Partner of Deloitte in India before setting up of C. C. Chokshi Advisors. The activities at C. C. Chokshi Advisors aim to provide complete answers for all business needs.

Dileep is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – Rank holder at the Intermediate and Final examination, Bachelor of Law, Member of the Institute of the Cost and Works Accountants of India. He has contributed in the preparation of the most prominent book of Kanga and Palkhivala’s – The Laws and Practice of Income Tax – Eighth Edition by late Mr. N. A. Palkhiwala and Mr. B.A. Palkhivala.

Ms. Shah is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience covering a wide range of subjects. Her core strengths are valuations, mergers, acquisitions and divestments, corporate restructuring, with a special focus on devising tax structures and strategies leveraging tax benefits available under the Indian Tax Laws and DTAA. Ms. Shah is responsible for FEMA, Corporate & Business Law, SEBI Regulations and compliance matters. Ms. Shah also assists with personal law issues, trusts, wills and advisory related to estate and succession.

Udayan D. Choksi, the Managing Partner of VoxLaw is one of the founders of the Firm. He has been working in indirect taxes since 2001, serving multinational corporations and India’s largest businesses in the areas of tax advisory, tax litigation, and transaction services. Udayan was earlier an Associate Partner at Economic Laws Practice, Advocates and Solicitors, prior to which he also worked with C.C. Chokshi & Co. / Deloitte, during which time he had a short secondment to the UK.

In addition to his CA degree, Udayan holds a BSc in Economics from Warwick University and an LLB from Bombay University. Udayan takes active interest in tax policy initiatives and is a member of the indirect taxes committees of prominent professional and business chambers, and is particularly dedicated to developments in customs, trade and transfer pricing.
